After providing us fans with epic entertainment, where the battle was very much a ding-dong, arguably took one twist too many as rivals Celtic and Rangers played out a lively draw at Ibrox, which arguably has made Hearts, who lead the SPL, uncatchable.
The Hoops have a game in hand, Martin O’Neil’s men host Aberdeen on Wednesday. This game should be winnable, but it appears that the way the Edinburgh club are going at the moment, they don’t look likely to drop points.
Earlier in the season, Derek McInnes’ men might have played some champagne football, but now they have learnt the art of ‘winning by not playing well’. I am not sure what point I am trying to get at, but the football fan in me is a little disappointed.
Sports fans, do let me know, is there a title race in Scotland?
