The BetMGM Premier League has arguably hosted the best night of 2026 so far with a fan-favourite winner, a hometown nine-darter and stunning matchups.

The SSE Arena Belfast kicked off with Night Three winner Jonny Clayton once again defeating Luke Littler by a fine margin with a 6-3 victory.

The Northern Irish crowd then witnessed Stephen Bunting grab his first win in the Premier League, defeating Luke Humphries 6-4 with an average of 106.63 and succeeding in 75% of his checkouts.

In another close contest, Gerwyn Price went from 5-3 down to beating Michael van Gerwen 6-5 in what was a classic between the two rivals.

Then, in the last quarter-final, Gian van Veen was victorious and triumphed over Josh Rock 6-2, but ‘Rocky’ claimed the best moment of the competition so far as he hit a nine-darter in home turf which sent the crowd into frenzy.

Into the semi-finals, ‘The Bullet’ put on another incredible display as Bunting whitewashed Clayton to win 6-0, once again averaging over 106.

‘The Iceman’ was featured in another 11-leg match, but this time he lost 6-5 as van Veen checked out 64 to proceed to his third final in the Premier League.

Despite not landing any 180s, it didn’t matter for Bunting as the world #6 came out on top and defeated ‘The Giant’ 6-2 in an emotional win.

With the Liverpool player finally earning points in the competition, he sits in fifth place and aims to carry this momentum next week.

Also, in the standings, both Littler and Humphries remain outside the top four with four points as the former Premier League and World Champions have yet to produce a positive display.
