The Tricky Trees have already gone through two managers this season with the exit of Nuno Espirito Santo and the short stint of Ange Postecoglou.
But, one manager has lifted the faith and spirits of the club and is potentially pushing them further away from a future relegation battle.
Sean Dyche was appointed at Nottingham Forest in 21 October with the club on one triumph in the Premier League and winless in their Europa League campaign.
In his first game in charge, the former Forest youth player guided The Reds to a 2-0 win over Porto after two penalty goals.
During November, Forest went on a five-game unbeaten run as they drew with Manchester United and SK Sturm Graz, before beating Leeds United, Malmo and Premier League Champions Liverpool.
Despite losses to Everton and Brighton, Dyche’s side have been able to redeem themselves picking up victories against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Utrecht.
On Sunday, Notts Forest defeated Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 at City Ground, pushing them five points away from the relegation zone as they’ve won four of their last six Premier League matches.
As for European competition, the Tricky Trees are two points away from the top eight in the Europa League with two fixtures left coming against Braga and Ferencvaros.
It’s fair to say that the Kettering-born manager has made a huge impact for the club and has been an ally for fans to rely on.
Dyche has made a huge improvement for the Forest team and if they continue their positive form, they could possibly be looking at some credible long-term achievements.
