It was all under the lights this week with some teams having the opportunity to enter an European spot in the table, while other aimed to stay away from danger near the relegation zone.

It kicked off on Tuesday Night when Jack Grealish scored the only goal of the game to give Everton a 1-0 win away to Bournemouth, much to The Cherries frustrations when Eli Junior Kroupi’s goal was disallowed for offside by VAR.

At Craven Cottage, a nine-goal thriller took place as Manchester City defeated Fulham 5-4. Marco Silva’s side were 5-1 down and came so close to completing the ultimate comeback.

Cristian Romero became Spurs’ saviour away to Newcastle United when he rescued a point to end the game 2-2 after a remarkable overhead kick goal, earning himself a brace in the process.

Wednesday Night featured six games, starting off with Arsenal securing a comfortable 2-0 win over Brentford at the Emirates which currently sees them five points clear at the top of the table.

Aston Villa were successful in a seven-goal stunner as they defeated Brighton 4-3 at the AMEX Stadium, placing themselves in third place after a fourth consecutive league win.

Crystal Palace returned to winning ways after Daniel Munoz’s 44th minute goal was enough to seal three points for The Eagles, continuing Burnley’s dreadful form with a 1-0 away victory.

Since joining Nottingham Forest, Sean Dyche has made a real impact as his side defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 with Igor Jesus scoring the only goal of the game. It still leaves Rob Edwards without a goal or win since being appointed as the Wolves manager.

Leeds United made the biggest surprise in the mid-week games as they conquered Chelsea with a 3-1 triumph which sees them outside the relegation zone by two points.

Nordi Mukiele’s own goal denied Sunderland three points at Anfield as Liverpool were able to draw 1-1, however, it has still put Arne Slot under scrutiny as fans questions whether he will manage to stay before Christmas.

Finally, on Thursday Night, Soungoutou Magassa rescued a 1-1 draw for West Ham United at Old Trafford, cancelling out Diogo Dalot’s goal for Manchester United near the beginning of the second half.
