The second division of English Football did not fail to provide goal as there were plenty of dominant victories this week.

The first game began on Friday night in Wales as Wrexham hosted Coventry City.

Kieffer Moore bagged a hat-trick, all of the goals being assisted by Josh Windass, which gave The The Red Dragons a 3-2 win and became the first side to beat the league leaders.

On to Saturday, Liam Manning’s job remains in great danger as Hull City earned a 2-0 win away at Carrow Road, leaving Norwich City winless in nine games.

Leicester City’s form continues to shatter as Blackburn Rovers salvaged a 2-0 win away at the King Power Stadium after Andri Gudjohnsen’s brace.

West Brom were unable to break the deadlock against bottom of the league, ending their game in a goalless draw against Sheffield Wednesday.

Will Still has recently been sacked from Southampton after their poor run of form as the Saints suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Preston North End.

George Hirst and Marcelino Nunez both earned a brace to give Ipswich Town a 4-1 win against Queens Park Rangers.

Watford pulled off a very impressive performance to beat Middlesborough 3-0, giving Rob Edwards’ side their second loss in the league.

Charlton Athletic were held to a 1-1 draw against Swansea City as Adam Idah scored an important equaliser to rescue a point for the away team.

Birmingham City thrashed Portsmouth 4-0 in a dominating game, placing them in mid-table and pushing Pompey closer to the relegation zone.

The most dramatic moment of the week happened when Przemyslaw Placheta saved a point for Oxford United in the 96th minute to draw 2-2 with Millwalll.

Carlton Morris had his best game yet for Derby County, scoring a hat-trick to beat Sheffield United 3-1 at Bramall Lane.

Finally, Stoke City out on a dominant display at the bet365 stadium, defeating Bristol City 5-1 which included a Divin Mubama hat-trick.
