The EFL had an intriguing week with plenty of interesting changes in the Championship table.
The King Power Stadium began the fourth week of the league’s action on Friday night.
Leicester City had a 100% success rate from their two shots on target as Abdul Fatawu and Ricardo Pereira secured a 2-0 win against Birmingham City.
Moving to Saturday, West Brom stopped Stoke City’s triumphant start to the season with Nat Phillips’ only goal giving The Baggies three points.
QPR finally claimed their first win of the season after defeating Charlton Athletic 3-1 at Loftus Road.
Tommy Conway’s 64th minute goal was enough for Middlesborough to stay undefeated in the Championship, keeping Sheffield United without a point so far this season and putting Ruben Selles in a risky position of being sacked.
Oxford United managed to keep Coventry City level at the Kassam stadium as Cameron Brannagan denied three points for the Sky Blues.
The biggest goal fest of the week occurred at the home of The Robins as Bristol City defeated Hull City 4-2 with an incredible statistic of 49 shots being taken between the two sides.
Swansea City’s form continues to grow after a 2-0 away victory against Sheffiled Wednesday, meaning that The Owls are still without a win.
Wrexham earned their first win in the Championship after Kiefer Moore scored the opener, before a very late goal from Lewis O’Brien sealed the deal against Millwall.
Norwich City took advantage of Blackburn Rovers’ 10 men when Sean McLoughlin was sent off, leaving Josh Sargent to score a brace and give his team a 2-0 victory.
Jack Clarke’s 106th minute penalty rescued a point for Ipswich Town as they just managed to hold Derby County to a 2-2 draw. A very dramatic ending to say the least.
Portsmouth returned to winning ways after a 1-0 home win over Preston North End with Andre Dozzell scoring his first for the season.
Finally, Watford and Southampton shared a point at Vicarage Road from a 2-2 draw with both teams sitting in the table at five points and zero goal difference.
