Newcastle United fans, I’m coming from a good place when I say this: don’t worry about losing out on Benjamin Sesko and your other targets. I know the players you have missed out on.

James Trafford, Mattheus Cunha, Bryan Mbuemo, Joao Pedro, and now Benjamin Sesko have all, in one way or another, wound up at another club other than the mighty Newcastle.

It was pointed out to me before the 70’s Newcastle used to be one of the powerhouses of the domestic game. Now I know, since then, something called Liverpool and Manchester United happened, but The Geordies is no doubt a pull.

A passionate fan base, legendary managers over the years, the North-East club has history and prestige. The late legendary Sir Bobby Robson has managed them, and that was the massive draw to them, surely.

It might come across as not sympathetic at all, but Newcastle United fans, you’re closer than you think. Manchester United lost on Rivaldo, Zidane, Davids and Ronaldinho in the 90s when they had the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson at the helm.

So Newcastle fans, those United fans can laugh, but those chuckles are coming from a place of pain, as far as history is concerned. Man United lost out on Gyokores, don’t let them tell you they wanted Sesko all along, he was plan B.

Furthermore, allegedly, Ruben wanted Ollie Watkins and not the tall Slovenian striker. O, coming to think of it, didn’t Man United want Liam Delap? OH, and how The Red Devils twirked for the Man City academy product.

Don’t be fooled by Mr Romano’s tweets, United want Carlos Baleba, but they can’t afford him.

Unless something miraculous happens, this will be the third time they have been knocked back in the transfer market.

Newcastle have a solid goalkeeper in Aaron Ramsdale, as well as Anthony Elanga.
Just remember, United paid £10 million more for players of a similar mould to Elanga.

To mention the elephant in the room. Newcastle having a star player (Isak) who went rogue and allegedly forced his way out of the club isn’t something alien.

David Beckham in Fergie’s and too many to name in the 12-year post-Fergie era since.

Don’t let the mainstream media fool you. The truth is the truth.
