After nine years at the club, striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has decided he will be leaving the club as a free agent. The 28-year-old, who was signed from Sheffield United in a £1.5 million deal in 2016, follows Ashley Young, Abdoulaye Dacoure and Asmir Begovic in leaving the club.

Despite an injury-prone spell with The Toffees, the Englishmen, when available, was a key player for Everton, but sadly, that was just it when he was available. Calvert-Lewin’s departure means that only Yusuf Chemriti and Beto are the club’s two senior centre-forwards.

In recent days, rumours have been circulating that Everton are looking to sign Theirno Barry, a France Under-21 international from La Liga side Villareal.
