FC Barcelona—I have no words. The La Liga side is a Spanish giant, a Spanish powerhouse, and they are, of course, winners of five Champions League titles and 28 La Liga titles. Only Real Madrid have more, of course.

So, with that in mind, it’s forgivable for players wanting to go there. Players such as Dani Olmo and Andreas Christensen, for example, have already had a tough time of it in Catalunya, as both were in limbo regarding whether they could be registered to play in league matches. 

These two players aren’t the only ones left in limbo, proving my point. Barcelona’s new La Liga champions have strengthened their squad with the signings of Joan Garcia and Nico Williams. 

Garcia has been signed from local rivals Espanyol, and Williams from Atletico Bilbao. Combined, both players will cost around £90 million, but with what money can Barca pull this off? 

The lever trick, from my knowledge, has no more left to pull, and on top of that, the revamp of Camp Not has increased. Sorry, there will be no weddings there anytime soon. 

Well, plan G: They will have to sell the grass in their temporary home. I can see it now. The headline will read, “The Barcelona president is the grass of sale,” which makes it sound like he’s a ‘pharmacist.’ 

Whatever you do, Mr. Laporta, please don’t punish the everyday workers and give the adults the equivalent of kids’ meals, as it apparently looks like it’s happening at Old Trafford. 

Martin Lewis, please book a trip to Barcelona and Manchester; they both need you, even if they don’t admit it.
