Manchester United’s season suffered a further blow when they were beaten 1-0 by Tottenham. An early James Maddison goal was the difference, as the Red Devils are just 10 points away from Wolves in 17th.

Naturally, one is sympathetic to manager Ruben Amorim’s plight, but his United were uninspiring overall. Alejandro Garnacho did go close, but other than that, there wasn’t too much to shout about.

After this, Spurs will be 12th in the table, level on points with Crystal Palace. Man United, on the other hand, is 15th with 29 points and is 1 point behind their next opponent, Everton.
