Defending champions Real Madrid will face former winners Manchester City in the Champions League play-off round. City, winners of the tournament two seasons ago, have struggled this term and only just qualified for the play-off round.
In contrast, Real is in good form, with attacking players Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo all hitting top form. Matches between these two teams usually promise to be good games, and with City strengthening in an attempt to address their issues, these games should be no different.
Pep’s men will be tested at the back, and it remains to be seen if key personnel return. If not, Real Madrid’s rampant forward line could give Abukodir Khusanov and Manuel Akanji a torrid time.
Elsewhere, Celtics face the daunting task of facing seven-time winners, such as Bayern Munich.
Vincent Kompany’s side haven’t been the best travellers in the Champions League this year, but surely The Bavarians will see off the Scottish champions over two legs?
