After a slow start to life under Arne Slot, in the way of transfers, Liverpool have completed two signings in quick succession.

First, The Reds secured the services of Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia in a deal worth up to £29 million, then staggeringly, Richard Hughes and co have brokered a deal to sign Federico Chiesa for £10 million!

If one bears that in mind, that’s some good going considering. Chiesa, who was formerly of Fiorentina and Juve, was a key player for Italy when they won Euro 2020/1, but his form has fallen by the wayside since.

Maybe a move to the Premier League and with Premier League giants Liverpool. it will help his fledgling career get back on track.
