Mauricio Pochettino after leaving Chelsea by mutual consent is again a man who is out of work, which means that he is free to talk to clubs in England and outside (Europe and beyond).
The Argentine, who has benefitted from the teaching Marcelo Bielsa, greatly is regarded as one of the finest coaches in Europe. Granted Poch’s trophies and accolades don’t stack up to a Klopp or Guardiola, but don’t let that deter you, the former Spurs boss is in the elite group of managers.
Former Paris Saint Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino is a man who likes to work with a project, that usually means a club who backs youth players to come through and they want to give the process time to help those youngsters develop.
This why the 52-year-old enjoyed a degree of success with Spurs. It can be argued that this was why Mauricio Pochettino was starting to get the best out of an expensively assembled Chelsea squad.
Poch, is in his element when he works with younger talent, talent that’e eager to prove themselves, eager to prove that they deserve to be on the bigger level. Cole Palmer is the obvious example that comes to mind.
The England youngster has has a superb breakout campaign, which is something similar to what Dele Ali did under the Argentine coach. Here in this article, I tell you why the time is right for Mauricio Pochettino to join Manchester United.
Pochettino linked with Man United is nothing new, this link has been made many times before, I am surprised nothing has become of it. United have an excellent academy group and it appears they might not have the right man to nurture that youth.
As mentioned earlier, Mauricio works wonders with younger talent. He improves players, Luke Shaw needs an arm around him for example and they did work together of course at Southampton.
Manchester United keep trying the world class elite manager, the one that’s won trophies galore, but not one like Mauricio that maybe hasn’t won everything, but knows how to win over players and pull them in the right direction.
The Red Devils are very close, if they’re not already of being in deep turmoil. A reset is needed, Pochettino thrives of resets, he’s got previous for that. United have looked at Poch from a distant and Poch United, the only thing needed to be said is, Mauricio your motivational, people skills is what is needed for Man United at current.
You and The Red Devils fit like a hand to glove. United have a very talented roster of youngsters, with the knowledge that Poch has an how to help young talent develop, then yes, I would say take the job.
It can be argued that Man United are better placed when it comes to this. Think about it Poch, it’s now or never Mr Pochettino. Not many clubs is there a canvas to work on your art like there is at Old Trafford.
