Greek side Olympiakos have become the second winners of UEFA Europa Conference League after a 1-0 win over Fiorentina. The Florence side have now lost in two successive finals.

Last season Vincenzo Italiano’s side were beaten 1-0 by Premier League side West Ham, this year Greek giants Olympiakos are victors in the Conference League. This win puts manager Jose Luiz Mendilibar in the elite company of winning two different European trophies back to back.

One of the most famous names to achieve such a feat was Jose Mourinho, who with his then-Porto side won the old UEFA Cup and then the following season, the Champions League.

Jose would come close again to achieving the feat this time with Roma. The Special One won the inaugural Conference League but would come short in the final of the Europa League, against Sevilla, managed by Senior Mendilibar.
