For the past at least two seasons, before the start of the season, I power up my laptop feeling inspired and feel that I have enough ammo to take you down in my argument. 

Your decision to sell Sterling and Zinchenko, especially the Ukrainian I saw as strange as that left you weak at left-back. Little did the football world know you were going to put Nathan Ake there and allow Nico Lewis to blossom into the wonderful player that he is and rotate him with the Dutchman. 

Pep, I am sorry I doubted you. Did I learn my lesson? No! After overcoming that challenge you upped the stakes. Last season you sold the talented Cole Palmer who looked impressive in pre-season for City and replace him with a player in Nunes, who played very little. 

With Palmer excelling with Chelsea, I was convinced I got you and I had won this argument and that you were wrong to sell the Wythenshawe born forward. For you though to solve this issue was easy, you just put Foden into a more prominent role and he helped your City team to the title. 

Selling then-skipper Ilkay Gundoguan was a challenge that even seemed too much for you, as there were certain games in your Man City side were somewhat of a soft touch. 

Just like the season before though, you proved me wrong and you found a way. Guess what, this year there will be no you don’t know what you’re doing Pep Guardiola article. 

What I will say is, and yes you heard it here first. Ederson will play in the heart of midfield and be a KDB 2.0. If Guardiola does this, no one will be surprised. Everyone else is playing chess, this brother is playing checkers!

Pep Guardiola, you just might be the best manager in the Premier League era. Why? The man has turned the Premier League into a Farmers League and also is there any records this man has not beat? Except for the 13 League titles, there isn’t.
