Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi will leave the club at the end of the season. The former Sassuolo coach helped The Seagulls to their highest Premier League last term and also a place in Europe where they would lose to AS Roma. 

After a good start to the season, Brighton faded badly and honestly, as surprising as this news is on the surface, I am not that surprised. There had been murmurs that Roberto De Zerbi could leave. 

Maybe it’s a coincidence, but the Barcelona jobs and Bayern Munich jobs look like they soon will be vacant. In terms of who Brighton should get to replace their outgoing manager, surely you have got to look at David Moyes or Graham Potter?

The bookies have suggested Kieran McKenna, who would continue with their philosophy. To be truly left-field, Ruben Amorim anyone? Yeah, I love the guy, leave me alone!
