Cole Palmer has won the Young Player of the Year award. The former Manchester City starlet has scored 22 goals and got 10 assists this term. It is argued by many this term that The Blues would have been much lower down the league if it wasn’t for the Wythenshawe-born midfielder.
In a season which has been disappointing for the West London side, Chelsea’s Palmer has been the one shining light. But having said that, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have climbed to sixth in the league, which would grant them a European place.
It’s been a good breakout season for Cole Palmer. At one stage he was level in the race for the Golden Boot. Obviously incensed by that, Man City’s Erling Haaland got his shooting boots on.
