Former Napoli and Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has agreed a new deal with the club. The Brazilian-born Italian midfielder. The 32-year-old who was formerly of interest to Premier League champions was signed on an 18-month deal.

Jorginho was also signed as someone who would help boost the numbers in the midfield. With 35 appearances this term, it appears quite clear that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is becoming more reliant on the former Chelsea man.

A Euro 2021 winner with Italy and a winner of the Champions League with Chelsea, it’s clear to see that Jorginho is a good player that The Gunners could do with having around.

The Italian’s new deal has been described by the club as a ‘short-term deal’.
