Brighton have agreed a £16m deal to sign Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman from Danish team FC Nordsjalland.

Osman has four goals and five assists for his club from 29 appearances this season. The capture of the Ghanaian wide-man is some coupe, especially since West Ham were also trying to land Osman.

The signing of Ibrahim Osman will help cushion the blow of not signing his compatriot Mohammed Kudus in the last transfer window.

The 19-year-old will join the club when the transfer window opens later this year, on a contract that runs until June 2029. Once completed, this will naturally increase speculation that Kaoru Mitoma will leave the Amex Stadium.

If this is indeed the case, it will be fair to say that Brighton won’t be short of buyers for Mitoma, and they will also no doubt be able to get a premium for the 26-year-old.
