Australian all-rounder Glen Maxwell, levelled Rohit Sharma’s T20 century record after he scored his fifth T20 century in the 34-run win against West Indies. Maxwell, who helped The Baggy Green win their sixth World Cup late last year with some destructive knocks, was equally dismissive of the West Indies attack.
The Melbourne Stars captain would go on to clobber a quite astonishing 120 off just 55 balls. This magical knock included 12 boundaries and eight maximums, whilst not forgetting to mention the switch-hit sixes he hit.
The cricket world has been longing for The Big Show, to well put on a Big Show. Just maybe, Glen Maxwell is now starting to do that more consistently.
