Premier League side West Ham United have agreed a loan deal till the end of the season with Lyon for their winger Said Benrahma. The deal does come with a £15 million obligation to buy.
Benrahma, 28, signed for The Hammers in a £25 million deal in 2020, plus £5 million in add-ons. The Algerian initially signed for the club on a season-long loan, but the deal was made permanent to allow Jesse Lingard to move to the club on loan.
The deal for the Algerian winger isn’t fully completed, the player will have the final say, but with the outstanding form of Lucas Pacqueta and West Ham wanting to sign former Celtic forward Jota, the writing seems on the wall for the former Nice winger.
