Two-time Australian Open finalist and former world number one Daniil Medvedev is through to the final after winning a five-set thriller against Alexander Zvevrev.

After the German Zverev raced into a 2-0 lead, it appeared that the former world number three was set to face Jannick Skinner in the final. After winning the third-set tie-break, that would prove to be a turning point in the contest.

In the fourth-set the Russian needed another tie-break, winning 7-6 (7-5). Zverev had his chances to seal match point, but Medvedev to his credit battled back to book his place in Sunday’s final against Jannick Skinner.

After being spot on with my prediction for this semi-final, I am going to put my neck out and say that Daniil Medvedev wins Sunday’s final in four sets. Do you agree?
