For the past 12-18 months, if not longer, Yorkshire
batsman Harry Brook has been one of the key players in the England side. Having initially joined the side for the tour of Pakistan, the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lahore Qalandar star has taken to test cricket like a duck has to water.

With less than a week of England’s cricketers due to facing off against Rohit Sharma’s India, the ECB have confirmed that the 24-year-old will be returning home early.

Although the reasons for Brook’s return are speculation, we hope and pray it’s not stress-related, like Jonathan Trott and Marcus Trescothick have suffered before them.

Harry Brook’s family have requested privacy at this time, and our news outlet here at the-sports-buff.com will respect this by all means.
Essex’s Dan Lawrence who did tour India last time England were there, is called up as Harry Brook’s replacement.
