Manchester City drew with Liverpool in the first game after the international break. In a game that was promising so much, turned into a game that delivered so little.

With what’s at stake, it’s understandable neither side wanted to give the other an inch of an advantage, but it was a difficult viewing from the spectator’s perspective.

It would be Brighton’s game against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle’s game against Chelsea who provide goal-scoring feasts in their games.

The Seagulls won a five-game thriller 3-2, to somewhat end their recent woes and Newcastle carried on their solid season with a 4-1 against faltering Chelsea who were on a mini resurgence before the International break.

That’s it for this mini Premier League round-up, join us for Tuesday’s Champions League round-up.
