The Proteas bar India, have been the best team in the tournament. After ‘failing’ in the last two games, to get such a historic milestone on such a grand stage is a testament to the man.

South Africa’s bowling attack, has been one of the best in the tournament. What made this latest ton all the more special was that Kohli barely got out of second gear, but then again he didn’t need to.

The comparisons will rage on till the cows come home as to who is better out of the two men. If you’re like me, you can say you enjoyed their talents when both were at their peak, in their eras.

Comparisons are very subjective. I am sure now Kohli’s main aim is to win the World Cup with India, just like Sachin helped India in 2011.

If the King achieves this, then say it quietly, maybe he has trumped the achievements of The Little Master.

Kohli (543) has scored more than what Sachin did in 2011 (482). That’s all irrelative if KK doesn’t help the men in blue to World Cup glory, some may argue this anyway.
