Former Everton, Manchester United and DC United forward Wayne Rooney has been named as the new manager of Birmingham City.
Rooney, who left his job as manager of DC United, replaces John Eustace, who was sacked by Birmingham’s new owners, Shelby Companies Limited.
Former Coventry midfielder Eustace has been linked with the vacant manager’s job at Rangers. The 37-year-old former England captain, returns to management in England, after being Derby boss.
Wayne Rooney has agreed a three-year deal at St Andrews.
