The Two-time defending champion arguably overcame one of his more stiffer tests in recent weeks to win the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, for a record-breaking 10th win in a row.
Sergio Perez in his Red Bull ended up in second. At one stage Spaniard Sainz looked set to spoil the Red Bull driver’s record-breaking sequence, when he qualified in pole position.
To be fair to Sainz, he did provide a stiff challenge to the two-time defending World Champion, but Verstappen like on several occasions this term, has found a way to come out on top.
Max Verstappen as a result of his latest win, his 10th out of 12 races, means that the Dutchman has a mammoth 145 points lead at the top of the drivers championship.
