What was different in this race was that Fernando Alonso was second at the Dutch Grand Prix. Mexican, Sergio Perez who is a teammate to Verstappen was fourth but remains second in the driver’s standings.

The point difference between the two however is 138. Two-time defending champion Max Verstappen has scored 339 points this season, in comparison to Perez’s 201.

Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton maintained his upturn of form of late and finished sixth in his Mercedes.
