England international Jude Bellingham’s brilliant start to his Real Madrid career continued as he scored the only goal in a narrow 1-0 win against Celta Vigo.
Hosts Celta, who were missing star midfielder Gabri Veiga who joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, thought they took the lead through Jorgen Strand Larsen.
VAR would have its say, and the goal would be ruled out. The visitors Real Madrid were second best for a large part of this match, but through Bellingham’s headed goal from a corner , were able to grab the win.
Real Madrid keep up their early season good form as they boast a 100% record. Valencia and Rayo Vallecano are the other sides in the league with perfect records.
The only sour note for Carlo Ancelotti’s men was that star player Vinicius Junior had to go off injured.
How long the Brazilian will be out for remains to be seen, but with the high-profile pursuit of Kylian Mbappe coming to nothing as of yet, Los Blancos could be short up front.
As of now though, Real can call upon the service of their new sharpshooter Bellingham, who has four goals in three games . Just the 446 goals left to get the record, Jude!
