Premier League side West Ham have agreed on a fee with Ajax, thought to be in the region of £38 million for Ghanian attacker Mohammed Kudus.
The 23-year-old, who impressed in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, always seemed set to leave the Johan Cruyff arena. It was a case of when and not if.
There has been some battle to try and sign the Ajax attacker. Manchester United had been linked as well as Arsenal too.
Despite that, it appeared that Brighton were in the box seat to sign Kudus, but the deal fell through. What’s been The Seagulls’ loss has been The Hammers’ gain.
Mohammed Kudus can play anywhere across the line, from a number nine to out wide.
This signing of Kudus, a great signing at the too, appears to have quashed speculation of a Jesse Lingard, West Ham reunion.
Oh, how Lingard wishes he didn’t burn that bridge 12 months ago.
Be sure not to miss out on their fantastic buy two get third free deal (3 for 2).
