Eleven-time defending champions Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign Harry Kane from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

The German champions did have their £86.4 million bid accepted by Tottenham.

With the England captain being in the last year of his Spurs contract and not wanting to renew his deal, Tottenham have made the best of a far-from-ideal situation.

There were reports that the flight the 30-year-old Harry Kane was due to board, was cancelled due to Tottenham wanting to make some alterations in the deal.

As per the respected transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, a deal is imminent and all that remains is for the paperwork to be filed, a medical and personal terms to be agreed.

All of those factors, shouldn’t be a problem for Bayern who have been chasing the signing of Harry Kane all summer.

The transfer of Kane to Bayern is beneficial to all parties.
The Bavarians, have a replacement for Sadio Mane and to bring it further back, an actual Robert Lewandowski, who wasn’t replaced two summers ago, when the Pole left for Barcelona.

With less than three weeks left in the window, Tottenham will now need to enter the striker market, which isn’t the best right now.

Much sought-after Benfica striker has agreed an initial loan to join French champions PSG. Wantaway Chelsea striker has been suggested, but this deal would come with risk.

It would come with risk, simply because the former Inter Milan striker, seemed adamant on moving to an Italian club.

Having missed the chance to sign for The Neazzuri, to then flutter his eyelashes at Juve, it’s football blasphemy surely!

Maybe Brazil striker Richarlison can show the football world why Tottenham paid so much for him. The man offers so much more than a chicken dance.
