Former Arsenal, Juventus and Nice midfielder Aaron Ramsey has returned to boyhood club Cardiff City on a two-year deal. Ramsey who won three FA Cups with The Gunners.

There were offers from the Saudi Pro League, but Aaron Ramsey opted to move closer to his family instead. A very admirable decision.

The 32-year-old Wales star returns to the South Wales club, who only just survived dropping into League One.

I am sure that won’t matter to Ramsey though. In Cardiff it started and arguably this is where it will end for the Welshmen.

The Wales captain did consult with his national manager before making the switch.
