Former world champion and current world champion Anthony Joshua and Oleksander Usyk have confirmed their next fight dates.

WBO, WBA (Super) and IBF champion Usyk, who took the belts of British fighter Joshua, will face Daniel Dubois, in Wroclaw, Poland on 26 August.

Dubois holds the WBA (Regular) belt and has won 19 fights, with 18 knockouts, and has been defeated once. That sole defeat came against fellow Brit Joe Joyce.

London fighter Dubois suffered a fractured eye socket in that defeat, a defeat which questioned if the 25-year-old Dubois would be seen in a ring again.

Daniel Dubois who was diagnosed with a broken orbital bone and nerve damage to his left eye, returned to boxing, two years on from the defeat to Joyce.

In June 2022, Dubois went one step closer to completing a fairy tale comeback to boxing when he won the WBA (Regular) title – to become the number one challenger – by knocking out American Trevor Bryan in Miami.

Former world champion Anthony Joshua who lost his world titles to Oleksandr Usyk will renew his old rivalry with Dillian Whyte.

Whyte and Joshua did face each other in the amateur circuit, where Dillian Whyte came out on top, but professionally it would be two-time world champion Anthony Joshua who would knock out his fellow Brit.

Both men having promised so much in the heavyweight division, have lost their way of late. Whyte lost to Tyson Fury and Joshua was very underwhelming in his return against American Jermain Franklin.

The Watford fighter did win against Franklin, but if he was to perform like that against Whyte, Anthony Joshua’s comeback trail could go very cold.

There was talk former World champion Joshua could face American Jarrell Miller, the man who failed a drugs test and had to be replaced by Andy Garcia.

Boxing fans, we remember what happened there. The fight between Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte has been agreed for 12th August in London.

If either man wins, they could get propelled back into world title contention, if either loses it won’t be just them on the canvas, it will be their career too.
