Swansea have acted swiftly in replacing outgoing manager Russel Martin by confirming the appointment of Michael Duff. The former Cheltenham defender and manager won the League Two title with the club in the 2020/21 season,
Duff who guided Barnsley to the League One play-off final last year, has agreed on a three-year deal. It’s a credit to The Swans for acting so swiftly to replace their former manager Martin.
Over the past 10 years and maybe even more than that Swansea have very rarely got their managerial appointments wrong. The time they usually have to have a change in manager is due to other clubs poaching their head coach.
