Thursday nights never disappoint when it comes to darts, especially when the BetMGM Premier League is being showcased as Night Eight was hosted in Berlin.

The first match kicked off with a big surprise as Josh Rock finally got points on the board with a 6-3 win over Jonny Clayton, claiming his first victory in the competition.

Michael van Gerwen was on form this week as he triumphed in a hard-fought battle to defeat the reigning champion Luke Humphries 6-3.

While Stephen Bunting teased a comeback from 4-0 down and landed an impressive checkout of 167, Luke Littler got the better of ‘The Bullet’ to win 6-3 and progress to the next round.

Gerwyn Price produced another dominant performance, just like last week, as he defeated the returning Gian van Veen 6-1 to reach the semi-finals.

In the last four, ‘Rocky’ could not pick up winning momentum as ‘The Green Machine’ won 6-3 due to his higher success rate in checkouts.

‘The Nuke’ and ‘The Iceman’ went head-to-head once again in the Premier League as Littler succeeded once again by winning 6-4 in another close matchup.

The final was a joy to watch for the fans in the Uber Arena as both MVG and Littler were throwing an average of over 100 and having checkout success rates of over 44%.

The Warrington darts player would ultimately take home the win after landing two 170 checkouts in his final two winning legs to beat van Gerwen and earn his third night win.

Littler is now the league leader in the competition with 21 points and has just a two-point gap ahead of second place.
