Belgium had the pleasure of hosting the second night of the BetMGM Darts Premier League as spectators witnessed plenty of competitive matches.

The oche was set at the AFAS Dome with the first game being a familiar clash between defending champion Luke Humphries and the World Champion Luke Littler.

In a contest that never disappoints, ‘The Nuke’ checked out 30 in the deciding leg to win the match 6-5, leaving Humphries heavily frustrated as he had the chance to progress with one attempt at double 20 and two efforts at double 10.

Josh Rock had a performance he will hope to forget after only averaging 79.34 in a 6-2 loss against Night One winner Michael van Gerwen.

Once again, Stephen Bunting started off strong as he earned a four-leg lead, but Jonny Clayton came back to knock out ‘The Bullet’ in the third quarter-final 6-4.

Gerwyn Price guaranteed points on the standings for the first time after narrowly defeating Gian van Veen 6-5 to create an all-Welsh semi-final.

In the first match of the last four, ‘The Green Machine’ put in a confident performance for a chance at winning two successive nights as van Gerwen defeated Littler 6-4, having more accuracy on his checkouts.

In a heavily contested matchup, ‘The Iceman’ beat his World Cup team mate in the deciding leg to win 6-5 against Clayton to meet the Dutchman in the final.

In the final stage at Antwerp, Price took a two-leg lead but MVG made an impressive comeback when he checked out 167 and 160.

Despite the impeccable finishing, it wasn’t enough for van Gerwen as Price went on to steal the show and win 6-3 to place himself second in the standings.
