After two contrasting wins from their first two games, Pakistan’s cricketers brace themselves for a top-of-the-table clash with arch-rivals and World Cup favourites India.
Sky’s men, who arguably have the most balanced squad in the tournament, will be the team to beat. Whereas in the last tournament, they were able to call upon Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, despite the absence of both men, the defending champions look formidable.
Rohit 2.0 is in the form of Abishek, so the cricket world has no respite! Pakistan are famed for their bowlers, but India shouldn’t be counted out in that regard. Tournament cricket is unique in that regard.
One good innings from one good player and all can change, but sometimes on the flipside, one bad innings from one bad player and all could change. You might have your own opinion on the matter but for me, this is why tournament cricket is as good as it is.
