Tottenham Hotspur fans have heavily deprecated The Lilywhites as they have only won once in their last seven fixtures.
Most of the criticism has been aimed at the manager Thomas Frank who cannot seem to steer Spurs in the right direction, despite having a good start to the season.
It all started to go downhill when Frank’s side lost 1-0 at home to rivals Chelsea, only having three attempts on goal in the entire game.
In the following league game, Spurs conceded a last-minute equaliser against Manchester United to draw 2-2 which was rather unfortunate as the home side turned the game around, scoring two goals within seven minutes to make it 2-1 with very little time left.
Tottenham were then a victim of Eberechi Eze’s hat-trick against North London rivals, Arsenal, once again only creating three shots in the game as they lost 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
In an eight-goal thriller, Frank’s squad were unable to get revenge from their Super Cup loss as Paris Saint Germain defeated Spurs 5-3 in what was always going to be a tough game.
However, the league form continued to drop as on Saturday, Tottenham suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Fulham which puts them on a four-game winless streak in the Premier League.
At the moment, the Europa League conquerors are sitting 16th in the Champions League table as their loss to PSG was the first in the competition.
Not to forget that they are only two points away from the top eight as they’re remaining fixtures in the European competition include Slavia Praha, Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt.
But, the Premier League is looking less promising as Spurs sit 12th after thirteen games played with five victories and losses.
As it stands, Tottenham are six points away from a Champions League spot, however, they stand seven points away from where they finishes last season in the Premier League, 17th.
It seems that the fans and some of the players are really disliking the tactics and style of play from Frank as it it very defensive-minded.
With no fight shown in the rivalry matchups, it’s the main reason why the Tottenham supporters are furious with the performances under Frank, leaving many to question whether he will see out the season with the club.
