So far, this tournament has given us some big surprises for those players who did not make it past the group stage.

Nathan Aspinall, Damon Heta, Stephen Bunting, Gian van Veen and Jonny Clayton were all big names to not reach the last 16 despite fans expecting them to proceed further on into the tournament.

Last year’s winner, Luke Littler, remains in the Grand Slam of Darts 2025 after comfortably winning all three games in his group.

There are still plenty more surprises that await as he head into the play-offs, so hear are the matchups for the last 16.

Luke Humphries topped Group A in convincing fashion as he takes on 22-year-old Jurjen van der Velde who is having a career best in a major PDC event.

Chris Dobey was another player who eased his way at the top of his group, he faces Michael Smith who finished second in Group A.

Luke Woodhouse finished on six point in Group C, he plays Ricky Evans who just finished second in Group D despite having a negative difference with legs won in all three matches.

Gerwyn Price topped Group D and will have the tricky task of taking on Martin Schindler.

The defending champion Littler hopes to progress in the tournament as he goes up against Wessel Nijman who just edged out second place in Group F.

Group F winner Josh Rock contests with one of the biggest underdogs left in the Grand Slam of Darts, Connor Scutt.

An all-Dutch matchup will occur in the last 16 as the winner of Group G, Michael van Gerwen, faces off against Danny Noppert.

Finally, Lukas Wenig hopes to continue to shine after topping Group H as he plays fellow German darts player, Niko Springer.
