Liverpool broke their four-game losing streak with an emphatic 5-1 away win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League.
There were five separate scorers for the Reds as both starting centre-halves, Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahim Konate, were on the scoresheet.
Plus, likely finishers for Liverpool; Hugo Ekitike, Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai grabbed a goal at Deutsche Bank Park.
However, one player failed to play a full 90 minutes as Arne Slot took off his most expensive signing at half-time.
Alexander Isak’s run of form continues to fall apart since his move from Newcastle United.
The Swede played just 46 minutes before being replaced by Federico Chiesa during the break.
Isak had two shots in the game but still failed to impress the Liverpool boss, leaving fans to think if signing the striker was a big mistake.
The Solna-born player has only scored one goal for the Merseyside club which came against Southampton in the EFL Cup.
The only other goal contribution he has made this season, is an assist for Gakpo’s equaliser against Chelsea in the Premier League, although they still lost 2-1.
Fans are still waiting for the 26-year-old to shine, hoping he can adapt to the squad in quicker time and help Liverpool improve their form after a big downfall over the past month.
