The second tier of English Football returned from international break, leaving footy fans with plenty of entertainment and drama.

It all kicked off at Portman Road on Friday night which certainly left some Championship fans unsurprised by the result.

Ipswich Town delivered a thrashing 5-0 victory against Sheffield United with Jaden Philogene bagging a hat-trick, leaving Ruben Selles’ job in greater danger.

On to Saturday, Leicester City managed to hold a draw with 10 men away against Oxford United with the final score being 2-2.

Raees Bangura-Williams rescued a 1-1 draw for Millwall in the 88th minute, leaving Charlton Athletic wondering what would’ve happened if that Kayne Ramsay didn’t see red in the 74th minute.

Preston North End thought they had won after Jordan Storey’s 88th minute goal, but Sontje Hansen equalised in the 92nd minute to help Middlesborough draw 2-2, away at Deepdale.

Blackburn Rovers claimed a 1-0 away win against Watford with Ryoya Morishita scoring the only goal.

Bosun Lawal’s 21st minute goal helped Stoke City return to winning ways after defeating Birmingham City at the bet365 Stadium.

Bristol City earned a comfortable victory away to Sheffield Wednesday, earning a 3-0 win which included an own goal from The Owls’ debutant, Harry Amass.

Despite having four shots to West Brom’s 18, Derby County managed to snatch three points from Andreas Weimann’s late goal in the 84th minute.

Queens Park Rangers secured their second consecutive win of the season after a 3-1 win away to Wrexham.

Hull City recovered twice to draw 2-2 with Swansea City after John Egan saved The Tigers with a 97th minute goal in Wales.

Coventry City will believe they deserved more after a dominating game could only give them a draw against Norwich City, especially after Haji Wright equalised in the 96th minute.

Finally, on Sunday, the South coast derby ended in disappointment as Southampton were held to a 0-0 draw against Portsmouth.
