After agreeing a deal to bring AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders to the club, Manchester City are on the verge of completing the signing of Algerian international and Wolves left-back Rayyan Hit-Nouri for a fee in the region £31 million.

Ait-Nouri, 24, is being signed so City can address their problematic left-back problem, which has been a problem since 2021. It will be a race against time for City to register the defender in time for this summer’s Club World Cup, which starts on June 10th.

Rayan Ait-Nouri is the second player to sign from Wolves in recent seasons after Matheus Nunes joined The Citizens. Air-Nouri joined Wolverhampton Wanderers from Angers for a fee in the region of £9.8 million.
