Aston Villa striker Jhon Dhuran has agreed to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr for €77 million plus add-ons on a five-year deal, as per Sportskeeda’s Sarthak Sharma. The 21-year-old signed by Chicago fire in 2023 has been in superb form this season.

Although he has been second fiddle behind England striker Ollie Watkins, Duran has scored three goals in less than 250 minutes of Champions League football. The Saudi giants’ capture of the Columbian striker is a coup.

Premier League giants Villa would have been reluctant to sell, but a reported fee of €77 million plus add-ons will be hard to turn down. This sale does leave The Villains a bit short in the striking department.

Players like Morgan Rogers and even Amadou Onana will need to contribute more goals. To be fair to the Belgian, before his series of injuries this season, his goal return for a player of his position has been respectable.

Newcastle striker Callum Wilson wouldn’t be a bad option as a potential replacement for Duran. Brighton have said they could consider loaning Evan Ferguson.

Monchi, what do you reckon?
