Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola manager has signed a new one-year deal with the Premier League champions.

If the deal can be extended for another year, The Catalan will have been at The Etihad for a decade.

Since joining City in 2016, the 53-year-old Spaniard has won 18 trophies, including six Premier League titles and one Champions League title. Under Pep, Man City became the first side to win four Premier League titles in a row.

Guardiola’s contract was due to expire this season, which led to speculation that he might manage England. With that speculation out of the way, City’s priority now will be to try to get back into the title race.
