Former Manchester City and Middlesbrough attacker Morgan Rogers has signed a new deal with Aston Villa till 2030. Rogers has been in impressive form this season and a critical player for The Villains since signing for £8 million in February, potentially rising to £16 million.

The 22-year-old’s form has seen him called to the England senior side. To date, Morgan Rogers has made two substitute appearances for The Three Lions, one against Greece and one against the Republic of Ireland.

After a stellar season for Aston Villa last term, keeping Rodgers and tying him down to a longer deal was seen as a high-priority step. Now that’s agreed, the Aston Villa hierarchy will consider thrashing out new terms for other squad members.
