Former Juventus and Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte has agreed to become the new manager of Napoli on a two-year deal. The former Juventus midfielder is seen as one of the best managers in the game.

The 54-year-old has won trophies wherever he has been almost, winning the Serie A title with Juventus on several occasions and with Inter Milan in the sole season he was there.

Conte has won titles in England too, winning the FA Cup and the Premier League with Chelsea. A further spell in England followed after Inter with Tottenham, but that wielded no trophies.

It can be argued that Antonio Conte has taken this Napoli job, to try and restore his reputation after the events with Spurs. From the outside looking in, this will be a fascinating appointment by The Little Donkeys.

Just like Daniel Levy before him, Aurelio Di Laurentiis is a chairman/president who gets his way. I think Antonio just likes strong men.
