After Australia pulled out of the running, it appears increasingly likely that Saudi Arabia will be hosting the 2034 World Cup.

The opposition to this news has been fierce, with many critics. Saudi’s human rights records have come under real scrutiny.

Some high-profile cases such as Jamal Kashoggi’s passing, which was reportedly orchestrated by Mohammed bin Salman, have been one of the main reasons for such opposition.

On sporting grounds, this is a non-issue if Saudi Arabia hosts the 2034 World Cup. The beautiful game is spreading aggressively in the area and if Qatar 2022 was anything to go by, world football worry not!

A winter World Cup, although did see players miss out through injury, we also saw some superb games being hosted in the tournament.

Who can forget the World Cup final? Saudi Arabia has hosted sporting events all over the globe all year round.

That includes football tournaments. We think Saudi 2034, on a footballing scale, can be an epic tournament.
