French champions Paris Saint Germain have sold Neymar to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, for a fee believed to be in the region of £77.6 million plus add-ons.

The 31-year-old Neymar famously left Barcelona to join the Parisians in a world record fee (£198 million) .

After coming with the burden of such a big transfer fee, the former Santos player has not been able to live up to the expectations placed on him.

The former Barcelona man has in periods in his PSG career, but Neymar’s injury record, which wasn’t very good at all, meant that the Brazilian spent more time in the treatment room than on the pitch.

Although this deal is not fully over the line as it’s subject to the Brazilian Neymar completing the necessary paper work, a deal is very likely.

New PSG boss Luis Enrique has said the former Brazil skipper isn’t in his plans. That’s quite something as it was Enrique who was Neymar’s manager when Barcelona won their second treble in the last decade.
